The Content Exchange partners with Getty Images to deliver premium integrated content

The Content Exchange (TCE), the digital marketplace for editorial stories, has partnered with Getty Images, a preeminent global visual content creator and marketplace, to integrate its content services. Using Getty Images’ API and reverse search technology, all TCE stories will be connected automatically with the right pictures, where the rights for licensing an editorial story and using the right pictures are dealt with in just one click. This improves the workflow for editorial teams and makes licensing content for digital and print publications a seamless experience.
TCE is a fast-growing network of publishers with over 200,000 editorial stories in base. This new integration with Getty Images ensures that every story on the platform will be provided with the best image options. Users can refine search, select pictures, and download the story and the pictures together. The service is now available for all existing Getty Images customers and it will be extended to non-Getty Images users in the future. Watch here this new service in action.
Joris van Lierop, CEO TCE, said “In today’s digital information society there is an ongoing demand for high quality content that captures the interest of the consumer. Being able to report about all leading trends, breaking news and special interest topics makes cooperation between editorial teams a logical choice. TCE supports the workflow and rights of content licensing between teams to exchange stories. Being able to deliver the right photography now as well is a huge step forward. We are very proud to work on this with such an outstanding company as Getty Images.
Benjamin Beavan, Senior Global Director of Strategic Development at Getty Images, said “Getty Images is dedicated to delivering the publishing community with pictures that capture the moments that best tell each story. Content licensing has been common practice for a long time, and we are always looking for new and innovative ways to build on the services we provide to our users. Our partnership with TCE takes this to a new level and creates a global marketplace where all stories can be exchanged.
