1. Who is responsible for the processing of my personal data?
The platform TCE is an online service offered by The Content Exchange BV (hereinafter: 'TCE' or 'we'). TCE has its office in Vlissingen, at Gildeweg 39-A in (4383 NJ) Vlissingen. TCE is registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 75692902.
TCE is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement. If you have any questions about how TCE handles your privacy or if you want to exercise your privacy rights (see below), you can contact TCE.

2. What information does TCE use, for what purposes and for how long?
Via the tce.exchange TCE offers services. In doing so, TCE processes personal data. Sometimes TCE works together with other organisations or companies.
We think it is very important that your personal data is handled with care. That is why we carefully process and secure personal data. TCE adheres to the requirements of privacy legislation, including the AVG.
Information about the use of the TCE platform
When you visit our platform, we collect certain personal data.
Technical and visiting data to make the TCE platform work properly. This information includes your IP address, browser type, operating system you use and the pages you visit on our website. TCE uses this data to secure the platform, and to adapt and improve the platform.
Tracking data to measure the effectiveness of our application.
If you do not have an account with TCE, TCE processes this data on the basis of our legitimate interest to offer a well-functioning and financially sustainable service with which you can purchase content. If you do have an account, TCE processes that data to execute the agreement between you and TCE.
TCE keeps the data for as long as necessary for the above-mentioned purposes.
Account details
To use the TCE platform you must create an account. You are required to provide the following information when creating an account: Name, e-mail address, telephone number, organization and your role/function. Your e-mail address is used to identify you when logging in and for sending various e-mails.
TCE sends newsletters, among other things. TCE can also send a payment reminder.
TCE uses this data to perform the agreement with you.
In addition, we process the above data for one or more of the following purposes:
- to offer you the opportunity to use all functionalities and services on the website.
- to find out which topics are relevant to our customers and thus determine which products or services we offer.
- to offer you personalized content on the website (see also the profiling section).
- to send you personalized newsletters based on your interests (see also the heading profiling).
- to answer your questions or handle complaints via social media, e-mail, by post or by telephone.

3. What are cookies and how are cookies used?
Cookies are small text files that a web application places on your computer, tablet or mobile phone when you visit the web application. Information about your visit is stored in these cookies. Personal data is processed by placing cookies.
Types
of cookies We use functional and non-functional cookies. We always place functional cookies. These are necessary for the TCE platform to work properly. For example, they ensure that you can remain logged in whenever you wish.
In addition, TCE uses tracking cookies to see whether you have visited the platform before.
TCE also uses so-called session cookies.
Analytical cookies allow us to measure the use of the platform. These statistics give us insight into how the TCE platform is used, what information users are looking for and which functionality is used most. We continuously analyze and improve the platform to make the experience for users as pleasant as possible. The statistics we collect can be traced back to individuals. We use Google Analytics and HotJar to gain insights from the data. We always place the analytical cookies. Blocking and deleting cookies
The TCE platform only works if you allow cookies.
4. With which parties does TCE share your personal data?
We pass on the information you provide to third parties, if this is necessary for the proper functioning of the TCE platform.
TCE can also provide your data to third parties if you have given permission for this yourself.
When we provide your personal data to a third party, we ensure (with an agreement) that your data is not used for other purposes. We also agree that your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed.
Furthermore, we will not provide the information you provide to other parties, unless this is legally required or permitted.
5. Personalization and cookies
We combine your personal data from different sources (such as the data from your account and the data you have left on the website).
By combining your data, we can send you personalized content or show you in the app or websites that match your interests. We can also personalize our newsletter for you in this way. We use cookies when collecting and combining your data.
6. How is your personal data protected by TCE?
We take appropriate security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to your personal data. In this way we ensure that only the necessary persons have access to the data, that access to the data is protected and that our security measures are regularly checked.
We do not keep the data longer than necessary. This means that we keep the data for as long as necessary to provide the service you have requested. Exceptions to this are the data that we have to keep for longer because the law obliges us to do so.

TCE or processors engaged by TCE will only store or process your personal data outside the EEA if this is in accordance with the applicable regulations for transferring personal data to countries outside the EEA.

9. What privacy rights do you have?
Account
If you have an account on the TCE platform, certain personal data that you have provided to us can be changed by you via the self-service environment: https://app.tce.exchange
If you are not in possession of an account and would still like to view your personal data, have it rectified, deleted, limit or transfer (portability) you can contact us at privacy@tce.exchange. Your rights are further described below. You can direct all your requests to privacy@tce.exchange.
Inspection and rectification/correction
You can request an overview of all your personal data that are processed by us. You can make a request to change or correct your data via the same email address. TCE will respond to these requests as soon as possible, but in any case within one month, unless an extension of this period is justified by law.
Objection
You can always object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing and/or (further) receipt of marketing information. The emails TCE sends all contain an unsubscribe option. If you unsubscribe via this option, you will no longer receive such messages. You cannot unsubscribe from information messages.
Deletion
If you want TCE to delete your personal data and/or your account, you can request TCE to do so.
It is possible that some personal data will be kept by us after such a request for deletion, for example because this is necessary for the processing of orders placed or if there is a legal obligation to retain the data.
Restriction of processing
If you have valid reasons to request a restriction of the processing of your personal data, for example because you contest the accuracy of the personal data processed by TCE, or because you have objected to the processing of personal data by TCE, you can request to such a limitation.
Data portability
If the processing of your personal data by TCE is based on your consent and is carried out through automated procedures, you have the right to request that the relevant personal data you have provided to TCE be received in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format .
Withdrawing consent
If processing of your personal data is based on your (explicit) consent, you always have the right to withdraw this consent, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before its withdrawal.
10. Changes to this privacy statement
We may change this privacy and cookie statement from time to time. Changes will be published on our website. We never use your data for other purposes without permission. It is therefore advisable to consult this privacy and cookie statement regularly, so that you are aware of these changes.

Of course we are happy to help you if you have complaints about the processing of your personal data. If you nevertheless do not agree with us, you also have the right under privacy legislation to submit a complaint to the privacy supervisor, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
